The world-famous pianist Yevgeny Kissin said during a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday that he will visit Armenia while he is alive.
Kisin is in Armenia within the framework of the XVIII international music festival "Yerevan Prospects".
The President greeted the pianist in Armenia, where, according to Sargsyan, not only appreciate his talent and skills, but also love for human qualities, as a friend of the Armenian people.
Noting that the Armenian people will never forget Kisin's support after the 1988 earthquake in Spitak, Sargsyan thanked the legendary pianist for his participation in a concert in New York dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
